Thoughtful Thursdays – Lose a customer?

Losing a customer is not typically the highlight of any sales person’s day. Despite how you may feel at the time, it is also not a reason to end your sales career. Suppliers lose customers every day,  it is part of begin in business.

It is important that you learn from the experience and improve your selling skills. Instead of moping around, determine what happened and commit to not letting it happen again. Accompanying the commitment, is a plan of action that is executed without fail. Be prepared for your plan to require the implementation of new routines.

Losing a customer is often a wake up call that reminds us not to rest on our laurels. Instead, be proactive and re-engage the practises that may have been taken for granted.

Good selling,
Richard
