Thoughtful Thursdays – Dress for the part

People buy from people they like and successful sales people earn their customers trust before attempting to sell anything.

The first rungs on the trust ladder are often based on first impression perceptions and making a good first impression can often lead to a shorter sales cycle.

The thought for today is in the form of a tip list to help make a good first impression, before uttering a word:

  1. Dress neatly
  2. Be sure your shoes are clean and polished
  3. If you are not sure, err on the side of overdressing
  4. If your clothes are not wrinkle free, iron them

You are a sales professional and possibly a business owner, so dress for the part.

Good selling,
Richard
