Getting the appointment with your prospect can be the toughest step in your sales process.
Here are a few tips to consider:
- Communicate your value proposition in more than one way. Be mindful that different personalities may value different things.
- Follow up on a regular basis. People are busy and priorities can change.
- Confirm that you talking to the correct person.
- Be persistent
- Be patient
If your products and services offer quantified value to your prospect, it is only a matter of time before they will see you.
I my experience, persistence and patience are high on the list of qualities that succesful sales professionals demonstrate on an ongoing basis.
