Thoughtful Thursdays – Sell with purpose
Today’s sales thought is about selling with purpose. In other words, sell it like you mean it.
How many times have you encountered a sales person who appears to be going through the motions rather than having a meaningful reason to help you? It happens more than one might think.
Preparation is key to selling with purpose. Doing something on purpose requires forethought and planning in order achieve a shorter sales cycle and hit the bulls eye – the sale.
- Consider your sales process. When was the last time you reviewed it? Have you started to take things for granted?
- Are prospect needs being correctly identified?
- Is there a sense of urgency?
- Have you considered the prospects emotional needs? (See last week’s post about prospect engagement)
- Do you have a plan or are you winging it?
Sell with purpose and you will close sales faster and more often.
Good selling,
Richard
