Thoughtful Thursdays – What do you do about declining sales?
Todays thought is about making a habit of maintaining and growing your prospect list.
No sales person is immune from experiencing the feeling of declining sales. Sooner or later it happens to all of us.
One way to minimize the frequency of this happening is to always have a rich list of prospects in your sales hopper. Phrases like keeping the funnel full and having a lot of pokers in the fire describe the act of maintaining your prospect list.
When sales are good it is easy to become complacent or to begin to rest on your laurels. It begins innocently enough, it does not take a lot of time before it becomes a habit, and habits are hard to break. When sales begin to decline it is might be too late to react if you have not been keeping your sales hopper full.
Never stop prospecting.
Good selling,
Richard
