Thoughtful Thursdays – Follow up to Consequences of waiting too long

Last week the Thoughtful Thursdays topic was “Consequences of waiting too long“.  Today’s thought is a follow up to that topic.

The consequence of losing the loyalty of a valued customer is a gift to your competitor. You may have experienced the good side of the consequences yourself. A new customer comes along seemingly out of the blue. Further research determines that that incumbent somehow screwed up to the point where the customer changed suppliers. Lucky you!

Looking at the other side of the coin. How would you feel about taking your competitor to your customer, holding the door for them and introducing them as the new supplier.

Treat your customers like the gold they are to your business and mitigate the consequences of poor customer service.
