Thoughtful Thursdays – Not business as usual
People are still have needs and are making purchases. As businesses that were declared non-essential are allowed to open up, the way of doing business has changed. Distancing and other protocols have been largely accepted.
Some manufacturers are less busy and others are having difficulty keeping up.
As a professional sales person you may have to adjust your approach if you have not already done so. Many prospects will have lower buying budgets which may require adjustment of volume thresholds and terms of payment. High end product purchases may be replaced with more affordable options.
If your delivery times have been extended, be transparent and let your customers know, so that they can adjust accordingly.
Business is there, but it is not as usual. Flexibility is even more important now your customers will appreciate it in the long run.
Good selling,
Richard
