Thoughtful Thursdays – Staying motivated

Maintaining a high level of motivation over an extended period of time is virually impossible.

The successful sales professional knows this and manges their time and activities so that they are at their best when they need to be.

Staying motivated is facilitated to a large extent by staying healthy. Getting enough sleep, having a balanced diet, exercising and chilling to rengenerize are all important factors.

On the business side, having a rich list of prospects and maintaining a top ten target list will help keep your level of motivation high. When there are a lot of positive things going on, motivation is rarely an issue.

When the level of activity starts to drop off, motivation is more difficult to maintain.

A sales person in good health with a strong list of prospects on the go, will typically perform well.
