Thoughtful Thursdays – Sell the demonstrated value…
… no more and no less.
Believe that your products and services deliver value, but be mindful of the level of that value. In other words, do not oversell it.
A quick way to lose a customer is to have your product offering not meet the expectations you have the opportunity to set.
That is not to say that your products are not capable of doing the job or meeting the customer’s expectations.
It is disappointing when something purchased does not perform as expected. It is worse when that expectation needlessly was set by the sales person.
Sell what your products will deliver. No more or no less.
Good selling,
Richard
