Thoughtful Thursdays – 4th quarter sales planning
Next week is the first week of the of the last quarter of 2017. How do you feel about that?
Holy sh!!
Where has the year gone?
F***!
Let the games begin!
How is the last quarter of 2017 shaping up with regards to your plan? Will it be a fit or a miss? There is no better time than now to calculate your status versus budget and put plans in place to make up a gap or blow the top off.
Simple arithmetic will provide you with the basic information you need. Then develop a plan for each of your customers that will help you achieve the short term objectives that will contribute to realize your year end goals. Micro managing your activities for each customer plan will insure that you do not miss any opportunities.
You might be amazed at what can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time when your efforts are structured and focused.
Eliminate the noise (distractions) and get on with what you know you have to do. Be sure to keep time scheduled for yourself to re-energize and have fun helping your customers and prospects.
The last calendar quarter is usually the shortest due to the holiday season. It may also be tough to see some of the people you want to see, so get busy and make those appointments.
Good selling,
Richard
