Thoughtful Thursdays – Are you good or better?

Sometimes all you need to close a sale is to be good. Today’s sales thought is about being good and taking up a level to better.
At some point better becomes the norm and it is only good from that point on. Better is a relative term. Making a habit of being better will keep you ahead of your competitors. Letting down your guard may allow the competition back into the game.
Phrases such as continuous improvement come to mind. Always be looking for ways to be better.
It is easy to be complacent and accept the status quo, especially when you have the business. Resting on your laurels is the invitation your competitor is looking for to join in while you hold the door open for them.
Don’t settle for good, be better – every day.
Next week: Ways to be better.
Good selling,
Richard
