Thoughtful Thursdays – Maintaining a positive sales attitude
You probably know people who always seem to have a positive attitude and wonder how they do it.
No matter what you do to for a living, there will be days that challenge your resolve to do the very best you can. Not every day will be your best.
Today’s thoughts are about ways that can help you perform the to the best of your ability each day.
- Recognize that your best can be different each day.
- Draw on positive experiences from the past. For example, how did you feel when you closed your first sale? Approach the day with that feeling.
- A negative attitude is the easy way out. Make a habit of not allowing yourself to succumb to the easy way out.
- Start your days meeting with your favourite customers.
- Avoid adding needless stress to your day. Allowing sufficient travel time between meetings and prepare for your meetings.
- Have responses ready for questions you fear.
- Get enough sleep
- Eat healthy
Maintaining a positive sales attitude will make your worst sales performance days better than your competitors best days.
Attitude is everything!
Good selling,
Richard
