Thoughtful Thursdays – Focus on the positive
Reacting to, and managing situations that can potentially lead to less than positive sales outcomes is a conversation I have with many of my clients.
Today’s thought is about being mindful of the negative, but focusing on the positive. A positive state of mind is a much better one to work with. Here are some tips on how you can maintain or regain a positive outlook.
- Work with the resources you have rather than wishing for what you don’t have
- Tap into your network and ask for their thoughts
- Do the math
- Take the point of view of maintaining the sale, not losing it
- Think growth not shrinkage
Be mindful of the negatives and use them to inspire the positives.
