Thoughtful Thursdays – What doesn’t your competition like to do?
In order to differentiate themselves from their competitors, a suggestion I offer my clients is to make a habit of doing what their competitors do not like to do.
The other day I was asked how does one find out what their competition does not like to do – a very good question.
Today’s thought is about determining what your competitor does not like to do.
- In conversation with your customers, ask about your competition
- Keep your ear to the ground when attending industry conferences and meetings
- Be observant, see beyond what is in front of you
- Perhaps the easiest place to start is to make a list of what you do not like to do
- Then create and execute a plan to develop the habit of doing those things
- It is likely that your competition will share a similar list
Good selling,
Richard
