Thoughtful Thursdays – What are you really selling?
Do you ever think about what you are selling? When I ask my clients what they are selling the answer invariably involves a description of the products and services that they are offering. This is a good response and leads to my next question: “What are you really selling?”
My follow up question is meant to initiate thought beyond the product and services and to consider reasons why their customers buy from them.
In a competitive market place, the reason people buy from you goes beyond the products and services and speaks to the value you deliver.
Making a habit of knowing what your really selling will reveal your competitive advantage.
