You did not need to take out a cutting board and knife and there were no crumbs to clean up. Think about how many slices of bread a family would through on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Uniform width of sliced bread worked better in toasters.<\/li>\n<li>Thinner slices means more slices per loaf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What about the value to the commercial bakeries?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales of bread skyrocketed after pre-sliced loaf was introduced.<\/li>\n<li>Convenience led to higher consumption of bread.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits to other businesses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher consumption of bread leads to increased demand for of jams and other spreads.<\/li>\n<li>Increased demand for all materials related to bread making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are always looking for the next &#8220;best thing&#8221; Pre-sliced packaged bread was a revolutionary advancement. The benefits and value it brought extended well beyond the consumer.<\/p>\n<p>Think about how the value of your products and services can also benefit your customer&#8217;s customers and suppliers.
