It can take months to get the ball rolling and it is easy to lose enthusiasm.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s thought is about&nbsp;getting that first meeting.<\/p>\n<p>If know that your products will&nbsp;provide a benefit to&nbsp;your prospect, it behooves you to remain engaged, not matter how long it takes. I make the assumption that if you are able to speak with your prospect, you will be able to get the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>It&nbsp;is more likely your prospect will be busy and you will have the option to leave a message.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always leave a voice message<\/li>\n<li>Prepare your message before you make the call<\/li>\n<li>State your name, why you are calling, when you will call back and your contact information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It may take more than one call to reach the person.
