Emotionally the customer will tend to purchase from a supplier they like.<\/p>\n<p>Logically, a supplier will sell to&nbsp;most anyone who wants to buy from them. Emotionally, the supplier&nbsp;will favour selling to a customer who is easy to deal with.<\/p>\n<p>Sales is simple. What makes&nbsp;it hard is the emotional component.<\/p>\n<p>We have discussed the emotional part of sales in previous posts and it is always worth re-visiting. A colleague once commented that the successful sales professionals could also be psychologists.<\/p>\n<p>The soft sales skills develop and improve&nbsp;over a period of time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Listen intently to what your customer is saying.
