No sales person is immune from experiencing the feeling of declining sales. Sooner or later it happens to all of us.<\/p>\n
One way to minimize the frequency of this happening is to always have a rich list of prospects in your sales hopper. Phrases like keeping the funnel full and having a lot of pokers in the fire describe the act of maintaining your prospect list.<\/p>\n
When sales are good it is easy to become complacent or to begin to rest on your laurels. It begins innocently enough, it does not take a lot of time before it becomes a habit, and habits are hard to break. When sales begin to decline it is might be too late to react if you have not been keeping your sales hopper full.<\/p>\n
