Thoughtful Thursdays – Year end sales activities
Are you prepared for the year end? There is no need for it to be a stressful time of year. A bit of structure and discipline can help ease the stress.
Realize that some of your customers may be on reduced schedules over the coming holiday season others will be incredibly busy. Be mindful that your competitors will be going through the same exercise and plan accordingly. The further out in front of the calendar you can be, the better.
From today there are approximately seventeen business days left in the year.
- Make appointments with your key customers now
- Review your budgets, identify sales to budget gaps and make sure you are not leaving anything to chance
- Set aside time for your own year end review and 2016 planning
- Schedule time to thank your internal customers for their support
- Do like the guy with the beard in the red suit
- Make a list and check it twice
Good selling,
Richard
