Thoughtful Thursdays – Are you credible?
It is important to be creditable in order to be trusted. The benefits of being trusted by the people you interact with include loyalty and respect. It can take years to build and can be lost in the blink of an eye.
Your customers trust you.
You do not have to look any further than the news this week that rocked the sport of tennis. If you saw the press conference, did you believe what you heard?
Apparently some sponsors did not believe or at a minimum were doubtful as they began to withdraw their support.
Relationships, whether business or personal are based on trust. Lose it and the consequences can be devastating.
Be mindful of your activities and always consider the consequences of your actions. I am not aware of many benefits from disrespecting trust.
